IBP Lead GBD
Job Description
The Global Business Development (GBD) team, part of the Supply Chain department of Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE) Netherlands, arranges that the Marketing and Sales Units of GBD Retail, and GBD Professional are able to sell our products to our international customers in a timely and complete manner, with the right balance between stock position, customer service level, logistics costs and production costs as an important starting point.
In this team we are looking for a IBP Lead GBD. Your responsibilities in this role are twofold: you will be responsible for lead planning function for Retail and Professional GBD business, and are involved in the collaborative planning with some of our key distributors.
What you are going to do
- You facilitate and lead the Sales and Operational planning process (S&OP or M cycle process) with the aim of delivering a full-year demand plan resulting in an accurate forecast and maximum customer service levels. In collaboration and with input from the marketing and sales departments of JDE, the final plan is presented by you to the JDE management team;
- You participate in the role of both business partner and challenger in the Sales & Operations Planning cycle with the aim of optimizing the demand forecast and bringing it to the highest possible level of accuracy;
- You facilitate and lead Collaborative Planning, Forecast and Replenishment (CPFR) process with export distributors for GBD Retail and Professional markets;
- You participate in (international) projects related to forecasting, stock management and supply chain planning and are the owner ship of customer demand planning in GBD.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of work experience in Supply Chain (eg Demand, Inventory of Supply planning, and experience in facilitating S&OP/CPFR processes);
- A strong personality with a lot of drive, leadership qualities and initiative;
- Affinity with operations (in addition to supply chain, also having a feel for procurement, sourcing and manufacturing)
- A good command of the English language, spoken and written.
