Job Description

Join us as Global B2B Marketing, Business Development, and Sustainability Support Intern at our international headquarters in Utrecht, starting in around April 2025. In this internship, you will support the B2B Business Development and Marketing team, contributing to product category management for concepts and cross-sell, as well as advancing our sustainability initiatives. 

Your key activities will be: 

  • Collaborating with local marketing teams to enhance their business development, category marketing, and sustainability plans. 
  • Assisting in market analysis, translating findings into a future-proof portfolio to guide product development and category strategies. 
  • Supporting the planning and execution of product launches and promotional activities. 
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure that product offerings meet both quality and sustainability standards. 
  • Contributing to the development of branded concepts that boost business across local markets. 
  • Supporting sustainability projects, working towards our goal of making our coffee portfolio 100% responsibly sourced by 2025. 
  • Assisting in data collection and reporting on sustainability metrics such as greenhouse gas emissions and waste reduction. 
  • Supporting the implementation of programs promoting regenerative agriculture and responsible land use practices. 
  • Assisting with operational activities to ensure efficient workflow within the marketing department.

Qualifications

Are you bursting with fresh ideas and a hunger for learning? We want you! Here's what we're looking for: 

  • Education: Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field. 
  • Creative: Thinks outside of the box and loves to help create new experiences or find new solutions within set boundaries. 
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and consumer insights with attention to detail. 
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills. 
  • Organizational Skills: Experience in organizing and efficiently managing multiple tasks. 
  • Passion for Coffee & Sustainability: Interest in our products and sustainability, including responsible sourcing. 
  • Commitment: You are ready to dedicate at least 5-6 months to this internship, preferably from April 2025 to September 2025. 
  • Availability: You can join the internship for 4-5 days per week, including three days in-office and one or two days remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence. 

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for this internship, you must: 

  • Ensure the internship is included in your study curriculum and contributes to your academic results. 
  • Have your educational institution willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet’s. 
  • If you are joining our Research departments, be able to sign an NDA agreement for internships. 
  • Be either: 
  • An EU (EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship. 
  • A Non-EU (EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
