Job Description

As a Customer Service Specialist Export, you will be part of the Global Business Development (GBD) Supply Chain team within the Benelux Supply Chain department.

The GBD team is responsible for the entire order-to-cash process. This makes the team the link between the internal JDE Peet's organization and the international customers. In the role of Customer Service Specialist Export, proactive communication is important. Additionally, you are the central point of contact for a group of international customers for matters such as order entry, logistics planning, export documentation, and invoicing. You independently liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to represent the customer's interests. It is a dynamic role with a high degree of autonomy regarding organizing and prioritizing your tasks.
What you will do:

  • Follow up and monitor the order process using the SAP system;
  • Proactively manage relationships with an assigned group of international customers, communicate with them about matters such as delivery times, order adjustments, and logistics optimization;
  • Identify and apply the best solutions for the customer, based on best practices in customer service and logistics;
  • Collaborate intensively with logistics service providers in Europe & the Export business team (Retail & Professional);
  • Organize and guide the export documentation process;
  • Proactively look for optimization of current workflows and participate in projects;
  • Handle possible complaints;
  • Ensure an excellent service level;
  • Prepare weekly & monthly reports.

Qualifications

  • You have a diploma at least at hbo level;
  • 1-2 years of work experience;
  • Possess good communication skills;
  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written;
  • A pragmatic person with an eye for detail who maintains an overview in stressful situations;
  • Able to organize your work independently;
  • Good at prioritizing between operational and commercial interests;
  • As a team player, you work easily with others;
  • Preferably knowledge of Excel, Power BI; 
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP.
