Global eCommerce Business Support Intern

Job Description

Join us as a Global eCommerce Business Support Intern at our international headquarters in Utrecht, starting in February 2025. In this internship, you will gain insider knowledge of the commercial dynamics in an eCommerce environment within global markets. You will also learn valuable skills in how to communicate clearly and effectively in a complex matrix organization.  

Your key activities will be: 

  • Together with the team, help to develop the global eCommerce activities and online experience for JDE Peet's and work in close alignment with local markets across the globe and other global departments 
  • Support Amazon relevant topics, such as Global Amazon Webinar and Amazon marketplace setup to secure the annual target 
  • Get involved in various analytical projects with local markets and global teams to assist CoE (Center of Excellence) team members 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Supply-chain, IT, and Finance to ensure tasks are complete and projects rolled out on time  
  • Support requests where there is a need to create content in line with our CASA (Content, Assortment, Search, Activation) principles and digital shelf execution guidelines

Qualifications

Are you bursting with fresh ideas and a hunger for learning? We want you!  

Here's what we're looking for: 

  • Academic Program: You are enrolled preferably in a MSc (preferred) or BSc program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in International Business Management or a field related to eCommerce.  
  • Skillset: You possess strong MS Office skills and fluent proficiency in speaking and written English – Having some similar hands-on experience with food research activities is always a benefit. 
  • Personal traits: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently. 
  • Commitment: You are ready to dedicate at least 6 months to this internship, preferably from the 3rd February to August  
  • Availability: You can join the internship for 5 days per week, including three days in-office and one or two days remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence.

  • Your internship should be included in your study curriculum and directly contribute to your academic results. 
  • Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet's and when joining our Research departments, also sign an NDA agreement for internships. 
  • You are either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
