As a packaging specialist in the pack material and science team, you'll be part of a diverse group thatâs all about learning, growing, and supporting each otherâjust the way we like it!
Your main focus will be helping to find the right suppliers and developing packaging solutions with them to support our sustainability journey. We're not just looking for expertise, but also someone with strong people skills and a drive to succeed. You'll play a key role in making a real impact in our value chain.
Hereâs what youâll be responsible for:
- Actively participates in execution of various project types, especially more complex medium-sized projects.
- Effective contribute as project member in larger teams (Informal Leadership)
- One patent opportunity/yr
- Supports NPD with expertise and experiments within field when asked. Leads NPD sub- projects in the field of expertise.
- Network with knowledge organizations and Universities, relevant for current projects.
- Compiling detailed technical reports to share with the wider community.
- Reporting & presentation of findings within R&D and project teams.
- Expertise recognition within R&D C&T
Qualifications
Weâre looking for a someone with a passion for packaging who takes ownership and knows their value. Youâll need to demonstrate some experience in commercialising new packs ideally with experience in fibres and the ability to thrive in a diverse team. Weâre more focused on the overall fit than a long list of requirements, but here are a few things that would be great to have:
- More than 4 yearsâ experience in role.
- Has a thorough understanding of category-specific technology, especially the directly-related processes/lines.
- Successfully commercialize one or more product/process (es).
- Strong organization/project management skills (project plan, updates, and flagging derailors on time,).
- Good presentation and influencing skills to key partners (Ops, BU, GT&Q, Procurement) with less guidance from program/group leader.
- Effectively present status/proposals to influence partners or share with higher management (Director-level).
- Show agility to take some decision alone regarding project execution.
- Independently deliver results, draw conclusions and write technical reports with minimal guidance from manager.
