Job Description

To start with, the position of Supply Chain Technology Transformation Leader (internally, called the Global Technology Manager) sits right in the heart of our Supply Chain IT Center of Excellence. As our Global Technology Manager Supply Chain, your mission is to drive value, create, execute and take the lead in multiple strategic and tactical transformation projects. To achieve this, you'll be working together with key stakeholders on the demand side, as well as consulting partners & systems integrators on the supply side. 

We're not just looking for someone who's got the know-how, meaning, at least 10 years of experience in driving full-scale Supply Chain Planning Transformation projects with at least two next generation Supply Chain Planning applications (SAP IBP, O9, Kinaxis etc). We're counting on your people skills and that inner fire for success. You're not just another cog in the machine; you're a key player in making sure our value chain game is on point.

Our Supply Chain Technology Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing and managing the technology systems and processes within our company's supply chain. Your primary responsibility is to partner with business stakeholders, and leverage technology (next-generation Supply Chain Planning Applications, SAP S4 HANA etc) to enhance the efficiency, visibility, & overall performance of the supply chain.

The key responsibilities of the Global Technology Manager Supply Chain are to:

  • Technology Strategy – Enhance and execute the technology strategy aligned with JDE’s Supply Chain goals (Supply Chain Planning, ERP) and identify opportunities for optimization by leveraging emerging technologies.
  • Implementation and Integration – From IT, lead the initiative for the full scale transformation and rollout of the Supply Chain Planning application, across the global landscape. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT Vendors and the Implementation teams to ensure seamless integration across all applications and the ERP.
  • Process Optimization – Analyze and optimize supply chain planning processes and workflows on a global scale, and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management – Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and partners, to implement technology solutions for effective communication and collaboration. Ensure alignment with global supply chain partners on technology-related initiatives.
  • Project Management – responsible for ensuring that evolving business demands are captured and channeled via IT Strategy & Planning, making sure the project funnel is accurate and initiatives are reflected in business cases (in close cooperation with business stakeholders).

For this role as a Global Technology Manager for Supply Chain, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • >10 years of experience in driving full-scale Supply Chain Planning Transformation projects with at least two next generation Supply Chain Planning applications (SAP IBP, O9, Kinaxis etc)
  • Experience in working with SAP S4 HANA during an implementation project is preferable
  • In addition to Supply Chain Planning, proficiency of high-level Order-to-Cash and Warehouse & Distribution business processes is preferred.
  • Project Management skills (including budget estimates, project financial tracking etc).
  • Experience in working within an Agile framework, with global business stakeholders and IT partners.
