E-Commerce Manager - GBD Retail

Job Description

The successful incumbent will be responsible to lead and develop the E-Commerce direction at GBD Retail across all geographies.

GBD Retail (Global Business Development) consists of several geographic clusters including following markets via distributors and where we currently do not have a business unit;

  • EAM & Israel
  • Middle East & Iceland & Finland
  • Morocco & North Africa & Export Markets

To ensure that in the markets we currently trade in, that the E-Commerce channel has a dedicated/necessary focus in order to achieve as minimum same level of market and sales share as in retails/offline channel, via distributor partners.

Liaise with Partners and E-Commerce Pure players and Brick and Mortar Senior Management, to communicate our strategy and agree tactical implementation as well as obtaining market and sales information to improve our knowledge of the market and business.

Review new market opportunities as well as search for the best Route to Market solution for each geography/cluster.

                 

Qualifications

For this role as a E Commerce Manager GBD Retail, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years E-Commerce experience in digital, Online and E-Commerce, preferably with FMCG/CPG
  • 3-5 year experience in Sales roles – BDM, Key Account/Channel manager;
  • Proven experience in E-Commerce, Trade/Retail Marketing with oversight of managing promotions, new products and pricing is highly desired  
  • Deep understanding of business end-to-end processes including Consumer/Shopper journey, Supply Chain/Operations processes, Sourcing, Selling, Shopper Marketing, Category Management 
  • Strong commercial understanding and familiarity with building business cases, P&L etc. as well as valid insights into the whole value chain as production, supply chain, etc.
  • Knowledge of Amazon 
  • DTC experience is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Experience working with distributors/service providers a plus

 

Additional Information

You will be required to travel to some of our markets during the year, frequency will depend on the requirements and needs of the business

Flexible working hours depending on the business need and subject to the local labour law requirements.
